Internship Description
Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) invites applications for Internship opportunities in the below-mentioned fields. The GEPFuture Internship Programme will run for the period from 01 September 2024 to 31 March 2026.
The programme is aimed at unemployed graduates who have successfully completed at least a three (3)-year Degree / National Diploma OR students who have passed all course work but require practical workplace exposure for completion of a qualification in any field specified below.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Information Technology Intern
National Diploma National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Information Technology,
- Computer Science,
- Engineering
Internal Audit Intern
National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Internal Audit
Ombud (Legal) Intern
- Bachelor of Law Degree
Benefits Administration Intern
National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Business
- Humanities
- Social Sciences
Secretariat and Administration Intern
National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- or related qualification
Graphic Design Intern
- National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Graphic Design or relate
- A portfolio of evidence will be required from shortlisted candidates
Finance Intern
National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Finance / Accounting
Human Resources Intern
National Diploma/ Degree in:
- Human Resources / Industrial Psychology
Please note:
- Applicants are only open to South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- Students who still need to finish or qualify for a Degree or National Diploma should not apply.
- Applicants who have benefited from an Internship programme and have previous formal employment in the field of study will not be considered.
- GEPF will not make provision for accommodation to any candidate attending the interviews or appointed candidate.
