About the Programme: The PIC Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is designed to empower recent graduates with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and real-world exposure in asset and investment management, with a specific focus on the pivotal role that the PIC plays in the economy. This structured programme aims to cultivate a pipeline of capable investment professionals, ultimately transforming the landscape of the asset management sector.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Finance Interns
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Financial Accounting / Auditing
Research and Projects Interns
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Economics / Econometrics
Information Security Interns
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science / Information Technology.
NB. Certification in CompTIA Security would be advantageous
Platform Reliability Engineering Interns
- Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor’s Degree in: Information Technology.
NB. Certification in ITIL, MCITP, Microsoft Office 365/ M365, and Microsoft Certification would be advantageous.
Software Engineering Interns
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- Software Development (Programming, object-oriented design, software testing and debugging).
Governance Risk and Compliance and Digital Experience Interns
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related fields
Human Capital Interns
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
Investment Management (PMV & Inv Ops Properties) Interns
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Finance / Properties
Qualifying Criteria:
- Applicants must be South African Citizens
- Have no work experience in the field of study and have not participated in any graduate/leadership programme.
- A strong desire to work in financial services (asset and investment management)
- Proven record of academic excellence.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
