SA Weather Service Invites Unemployed Graduates to Apply for the Internships 2024

Internship Description
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) hereby invites applications for a one-year Internship Programme. We are looking for suitably qualified and unemployed graduates to join our Internship Programme in the below-mentioned fields of study.
Successful candidates will be required to enter into an Internship Agreement with SAWS for a duration of twelve months. There will be no obligation to employ the intern on completion of the Programme.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Internship – ICT
Must have any of the following:
- National Diploma Information Technology
- BCom Information Systems
- BSc Computer Science
Internship – Marine
Must have any of the following:
- Honours in Atmospheric Science
- National Diploma: Electrical Engineering
Internship: Climate Services
Degree in the following:
- Data Science
- Environmental Science
- or related
Internship: Finance
BCom in any of the following:
- Business Management
- Accounting
- or related
Internship: Technical Services
- National Diploma: Electrical Engineering (Light current)
Internship: Marketing
Bachelors Degree:
- Marketing,
- Journalism,
- Communication Studies
- or related
Internship: Human Capital Management
- National Diploma: Human Resource Management or related
Please note:
- Applicant must be 18 – 35 years of age.
- An applicant must have been unemployed and with no work experience.
