Internship Description

Our exciting 12-month paid Graduate Internship Programme in collaboration with the YES for Youth Programme’s purpose is to equip unemployed youth with a toolkit for employment success and consists of on-the-job learning, structured training and the possibility of absorption into permanent employment at iX at the end of the Programme.

This is an opportunity not to be missed! This is a full-time role hybrid role with the expectation to meet in the Westville office for bi-weekly meetings. This role requires you to have your own PC and a strong internet connection.

The following roles are open for applications:

• Social Media Community Specialist – source & post content to social media and Google Business profiles, set up content calendars for clients, schedule meetings with clients to plan the content strategy for the upcoming months, set up content calendars for clients, monitor & respond to comments, messages and reviews on social media platforms and Google Business Profiles, monthly reporting on social media and Google Business profile performance.
• Pages Auditor – audit all pages; websites, Google Business Profiles and Social pages.
• Digital Campaign Manager Assistant – loading specials on our CRM system.
• Stock & Leads Analyst – respond to client’s queries on the distribution of their vehicle stock and leads. The role requires you to have excellent client support skills, be a good multi-tasker, and problem solver, and have the ability to work under pressure

Requirements:

• Gr 12/School leaving certificate is essential
• IT /Business/Marketing qualification or certification

Skills and Competencies:

• Computer literacy in Google Drive, Sheets and docs
• Previous experience in a similar role a bonus
• Must be unemployed at the time of application
• Must reside in the KZN province in close proximity to Westville where our office is based
• Must have own laptop/PC and a strong internet connection at home
• Ability to work in a varied, fast-paced environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
