Learnership Description
Disability Inclusion and creating community equality are part of our key priorities as a business and we are excited to announce that we are offering a Learnership programme that will run for 12 months in various stores across South Africa for People Living with Disabilities.
The fixed-term contract will provide all learners with workplace experience underpinned by a carefully designed training programme that allows one to gain valuable work experience and explore career paths within the Retail World.
Requirements:
To be eligible for the programme, the below minimum requirements apply:
- Candidate must be a South African Citizen by birth
- Completed Matric qualification
- Valid doctor certificate that confirms the nature of Disability
- Must be unemployed and have 0 – 1 Year working experience
- Must be 26 years old or younger
- Willing to work retail hours (weekends, busy trading periods such as Christmas, public holidays etc. )
- Not registered for the same program at the SETA before / not currently registered with any SETA for any program
Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong potential in:
- Time management,
- Interpersonal & communication skills
- and must have a passion for the retail environment.
