Internship Description

This is an internship for one year with the Project and Development Services team on live projects. The work will involve all aspects of services provided but I will be working closely with one of the Senior Project / Commercial Managers on a package of works.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Project and Development Services team and assist in all aspects of project delivery – pre/post contract.
• Minuting meetings and creating agendas.
• Participate in project reviews, update meetings, client meetings, designer/contractor meetings, shadows and learning, scheduling, permitting, and workshops.
• Contribute to the successful execution of other research initiatives as needed.
• Any other task requested by the line manager.
• Required to work on-site

Required Education:

Graduate in any discipline or Post Graduate in:

• Project Management /
• Engineering – Civil,
• Environmental,
• Infrastructure/
• Construction Management /
• Commercial Management /
• Quantity Surveying

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical background with attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks
• Ability to work to meet deadlines, even when timeframes are demanding
• Willingness to take on new challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Be capable of managing stress & accepting constructive feedback
• Knowledge and understanding of the engineering/construction industry
